Title: Can anyone remember what this mission was?

Im positive there was a mission in, i think it was a mod, where you had to fly around the Shivan juggernauts as they were in the process of blowing up the Capellan sun.

There was at least 3 juggernauts that were proper models in the mission. I cant for the life of me remeber what mission it was though.

Does anyone know what it is.

They weren't blowing up Capella, but

accelerating the shockwave towards the system your fleet was stationed in.
It was form Into The Depths Of Hell, part 1 or 2 (I'll bet on 2).

I dont think Ive ever played that.... I played it ages ago though, which is why im a little hazy.

There was also a mission in a mod where you had to protect science ships doing close scans of the juggernauts near the Capella Sun. Don't remember which campaign it was either.

I think someone did make a stand-alone mission that featured the Sathanas supernova sequence, but I don't think it was ever associated with a campaign.

They had custom subspace weapons......

Can't remember / or find the zip i'm afraid.

It was packaged with the Subspace Weapon effect mod, there was an extremely similar mission in ITDoH, probably a modified version.

Yes. That was it. I remember getting that effect/mod.

I got it from hades combine ages ago.

Can you still get that mission from another site.

I'm sure I still have it buried in my big ol' FS missions/mods folder; I'll track it down and upload it at some point if it's not available elsewhere.

I think it may have been Scroll of Atankharzim's standalone mission showcasing the subspace effect.

Wha precisely kept ItDOH from being finished, anyway? The fifth chapter is incomplete, is it not?

...So long as we're on the subject of mystery campaigns and what they might be...

Yeah, the file I have is from Sesquipedalian, so it must be.

(On an unrelated note, I really need to go through this missions folder one of these days.  I don't even know what half of this stuff is or how it goes together. :p)

There's a mission like you describe in FOW1.
EDIT: Nevermind, just noticed hte subspace weapon bit. That isn't it then.

It was the sample mission provided with Sesquipedalian's Subspace Rift Sathanas mod.  You can find it on the Scroll of Atankharzim downloads (http://scroll.hard-light.net/website/downloads.html) page.

I don't think so. I also specifically remember playing a campaign in which at one point you had to protect a science cruiser that is scanning the activity of the Sathanases from Shivan attack. There were 3 Sathanas Juggernauts, 2 Science cruisers, 4 wings of us and a lot of Shivans. I don't remember the campaign however.

That's the one I was talking about. I seem to remember it was from FOW but I'm not sure at all.

Yup, than that's from Flames of War. But there were no subspace rifts on that one.
