Hi. I put the new campaigns from this site in the the "New Campaigns" folder and nothing happens. No campaign name or anything. Help pleasd?
-
If they're in VP format, just drop them in the main TBP directory and select them in the Campaign Room.

*Sigh*
Here's the short installation guide for campaigns FOR TBP. Note that for FS2, different rules apply.
*If the campaign comes as .vp files: Just put the VP files into your base TBP directory
*If it comes as a bunch of missions (.fs2) and a campaign file (.fc2), they need to be placed in <TBP dir>\data\missions

Or alternatively you could select your "new campaigns" folder as current mod in the launcher, assuming the new campaign folder is in the TBP root directory (or however that's called).
-
Wont that create a problem with campaigns made for Zathras though? o.O
-
Multimod.

If the campaigns are for Zathras only it wouldn't be a good idea to put them in the TBP root directory in the first place. Those would have to go into the Zathras folder, or as Jeff Vader said they would just need a little alteration in the mod.ini if they were in their own folder.
If you have a Zathras-only campaign in it's own folder, create a new txt file, copy/paste the following code into it, rename the file into "mod.ini" and stick it into the campaign's folder.

[multimod]

Yes all new campaigns should be going into their own sub-directories. If it didn't come on the DVD then it shouldn't be in the root. There are exceptions like Vid's Operations and that new mini campaign which will need to go into root as there are multiplayer versions.
