And now we see why no such mod will ever be official. :p

No, it really doesn't, because nobody here can agree on what all the errors are.
We've now got Woolie Wool arguing that the Prometheus R's stats are an error.
Please stop blaming the MediaVPs crew. It's rude and ungrateful.

Not every player with any knowledge of editing code is MediaVPs crew, perhaps you should take that into consideration. And I've mentioned it before, if the devs don't catch it, a player will, and most often an unofficial fix is made, I've seen many games do this however not FreeSpace so it's far too late for any debate.
Please stop assuming I'm only talking about the MediaVPs crew. It's rude and ungrateful.

This has nothing to do with editing code. It appears you don't actually have much modding experience? Just a quibble, though.
What point are you trying to make?
From post 1 on this topic I've been saying the correct course of action is for people to make their own remix mods. Why are you disagreeing with me if that's your contention as well?
I hope you understand why no unofficial fix could have been made widespread.

I'm not "blaming" anyone for anything. Please stop putting words in my mouth.
I understand what the mediavps crew is doing. What headdie is doing is not the same thing.

The post wasn't directed at you. No one suggested you were blaming anyone for anything.

Because you brought his name up and then made that comment.

Well, it's now been clarified. Ease off, okay?

Actually I'm going to split-lock Zane's aside because I'm not sure what it's about.
