dude..........it only plays MP3's............

Goldwave works for me. mp3->wav is a much simpler process than wav->mp3 though; if all else fails, just play it and record it into a wav file using Sound Recorder. :D

It's always funny when the person asking the question assumes they know more than the person giving the answer. :ha:

What the hell....
didn't you ever read the Winamp readme?
open the damn thing, press "Ctrl+P". select "Input".
then select the "Mjuice Secure MP3 decoder"configue it, and put it so that you save to a folder of your choice.
then play the selection, and the WAV will be saved in the floder you selected.
gees...

Yeah really, the last time anyone was that worked up was me when I went ranting about Thunder. :D

http://www.musicmatch.com/  and it's absolutely free! It rips CDs, plays music, and converts mp3 -> wav and wav -> mp3

For general converstion I'd advise winamp. It's a commonly used program, it's highly flexiable for playing various formats types and can even support plugins for new file formats. Most of the files that you can play in winamp can be converted and exported out into PCM wave files (or any other export writing plugin you have installed).

well I use it mainly to convert sounds(mainly wav/voc to voc/wav) and to amplify then when they are too quite, or to conbin 2 sounds
