Alright, so I'm trying to make a simple ship for Freespace as a personal learning experience. I have my model in Blender, and followed the instructions on this site: http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Blender_to_POF_Conversions (http://www.hard-light.net/wiki/index.php/Blender_to_POF_Conversions). I export it as a .dae and it says "export successful," though when I open it in PCS2, a little window comes up saying "Starting Load," then the viewscreen is black, and there is no info or anything, as if it did not open anything at all. (Exactly the same as a fresh new open of PCS2) I am having this problem with Windows XP and with Windows 7. My version of Blender is the newest, whatever it is.. downloaded it again an hour ago for kicks.
All PCS2 versions I have were downloaded from the previous link. My model has no real textures. It has some with the blender material window, which I know does not get exported, it is just for looks while in blender. I have not UVMapped it yet. It has not been turreted or anything. It is just the main model with multiple other objects as unfinished turrets.
Edit: All the turret objects are parented to the main body.
I have no idea how to troubleshoot this. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Thanks.
Added: To see if it was something with my Blender scene, I just opened a new blender scene, converted the default cube to triangles, exported as .dae, and the same problem occurs, with no other changes to that blender scene. Intriguing...

Is the main ojbect named detail0 or detail-0? The collada version will only read main objects starting with detail or debris.
Are there any objects at all in the list?

First, I would like to apologize for not posting this in the PCS2 sticky, I was not aware it was existent until now...
Secondly, no, it was not named detail0. Doing so made it work. How very dumb of me. :blah:
Oh well, live and learn I guess.
Thanks FUBAR!
