I'm currently trying to track a near aincent filepack down for Thaeris, and i stumbled across this for Star Trek Armada 2.

I used to have STA2 but got rid of it due to the fact that ............. i just liked another game more. :v:
Anyone who knows of any other FS2 mods for other games (HW2 for instance) should post links here

I've said before that I've no real Wiki-editing experience, but is it possible we could get a team together to create an "Unfinished Mods" page? Yes, this is on a slightly different tangent than what Dekker is talking about, but I think it would be really helpful to have a few articles about "Imperial Alliance," "The TOS BSG" project, and the Star Trek mods I'm equally unfamiliar with. Could this be made to happen?

Don't know if anyone has seen this. Think its still in the early stages but there is quite a nice video of an aeolus testing its weapons. Looks promising

That's a mod for Sins of a Solar Empire. I haven't heard any news from the mod team in quite a while, so it may have died out. They did release an incomplete mod with FS1 ships and fighters in it. Not really well balanced, but it's still pretty fun. Of course the freespace universe doesn't translate well to the gameplay in Sins, since massive amounts of capital ships is pretty par for the course. As long as you don't mind seeing fifteen orions in a single battle, pretty fun. :D

I've been looking at that for the past few days. Never really heard much about Nexus, so I can't guesstimate how well it will turn out, but what has been shown is pretty solid.

Nexus is pretty good but is more designed along the lines of Homeworld series which focuses on the capship combat. Fighters only play a bit part in Nexus in all honesty but that's the whole point, isn't it? I mean, fighters are there to support the capships, not be the centre piece so think it could work out quite well. :)

I saw the trailer yesterday; Fury posted it on the IRC. I am now looking for Nexus.

The mod allready looks very nice. I still have Nexus somewhere so I am looking forward to see this mode done.
