Title: Various questions (split from Getting Started?)

I am working on this now I do have a question

Since I have FS1 ST and FS2 games discs I copy all the .MVE  files to c:\games\FreeSpace2\fsport\data\movies\   do I still need the   C:\Games\FreeSpace2\data\movies folder?

is there MVE files on the Silent threat disc?

FreeSpace 2 movies should go in the FreeSpace2\data\movies folder, not the fsport one.

gotta I am downloading now I was vary  shocked to find  this project I email interplay about an issue and they gave me your website wow vary nice I have seen the FSO videos

I need to ask this is the Nvida 5200FX 128MB vram graphics card power enough for FS2O? or I have a a ati 4650 1GB vram w/DVI only

If it supports OpenGL 1.4 and higher, then yes. Please note that this is actually NOT the right thread for noobie questions.
