Title: Need some webpage advice
Post by: Ulundel on April 12, 2002, 08:41:58 am: All right kids. TT campaign site is ready now and I want some advice about what should I do more ar just leave it like that.

BTW Excuse me my many spelling mistakes will ya. Gotta have someone to rewrite the story and check spelling errors. :D

Post by: Styxx on April 12, 2002, 09:00:30 am: I'd tell you to try to get a better theme feeling to the site too - make a few buttons for the menu, a better defined style for the text, stuff like that. Try checking your usual game sites to get a feeling of what I mean... :)

Post by: Setekh on April 12, 2002, 09:00:33 am: Yeah, reduce the saturation on that blue; use something like #4C4CB2, which is just a paler blue, but more pleasant on the eyes. It also wouldn't look too bad with a background of #1A1A1A, but that's beginning to transform the look of the site quite a bit. :)

Use the banner that DC made for you, it's better than the one you have on your front page. :)

drop the frames, I think the style site screams "frontpage". Every 5th site has the same exact layout. try to be different, placing things in different positions, and also think of creative ways to have them browse the site, i.e. flash

GS is currently amuck with E3 right now. ;) Keep getting more content on that site and your odds will be getting better with us. :)
