Title: Old People + Internet = Facepalm

So, I don't think this (http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/facebook_wants_to_be_your_one_true_login.php#comments) was posted, right?

Man, my generation really sucks at teaching our parents and grandparents how to use technology.

Short version: yeah, so old people don't use urls, they type things into google. Well,  one day this particular blog post was one of the top results for facebook login, which led to, well, go see. Best comment:

The comments are freaking hilarious. I don't think I've seen such a good combination of fail and people taking the piss out of fail since the whole "Ban Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers" petition a while back.

i've always been an advocate of having an IQ requirement for the internet.  you could make browsers like those brethalyzer cars:

"Before we let you online, please take this short quiz:"

"Are you going somewhere other than the Firefox, Chrome or other browser website?"

"Internet Explorer is rubbish. Are you still going to continue using it?"

If the answer to all 3 is yes, FAIL.

I hate to say it, but there are probably just as many damn idiots in my generation (university age).

Professors like to throw crap onto ****ty websites and "online resources" and just say "well, you guys are good at computers so you can figure it out".  I can usually figure out what the hell they've done (it rarely makes sense) but there are always a few people that are as lost as my grandmother.
