Title: Location of FS2 Open files

Hey, guys. I got FS2 from G.O.G. by downloading it at a friend's house because I have really slow internet (my parents are cheap.) If I downloaded FS2 open from his house, where would I put the files once I got them back to my house?

the GOG download is a single .exe installer. The advised path for installation is C:\Games\Freespace2\

Yalp. Make sure you've got a flash drive that can handle at least 1.2 GB of space and put the installer on it. Then simply take it home and install it on your machine!

Also, if you ever need to install your file from GOG again, there's no problem - just download it when necessary.  :D

If you want to use one of the installer methods (Turey's Installer, hip63's offline installer, ShivanSPS's upgrade pack...), just download them, move them to your computer however you want (flash drive, external HDD, DVD...) and install them.
