Title: An account removal.
Post by: Alex Navarro on February 18, 2010, 06:37:29 pm
Hello. I should have posted this some years before... i'm a little dumb, or I was. I really apologize for this issue:

I have two accounts in this site. The first unused one (AlexBrennan) was my first try on registering in this site a few years ago, which failed because i have a hotmail email and never came the activation link. So, this account isn't activated.

Then I created another account (Alex Navarro), with gmail, because I didn't know how to modify profiles (this is the first site I was registered in all my life, so I was a little dumb by then).

And two years ago google deleted (intentionally or not, i don't know) my gmail account.

My current profile, alex navarro, still has the deleted gmail assigned (oops), and I want to change it to my hotmail one. So the question is:

Please, could you delete AlexBrennan so I can use my hotmail account in Alex Navarro?

I hope this isn't very discomforting for you  :nervous:, moderators, admins or whoever work with this account related things.

Deleted. The account never had any posts and the IP matched yours so what the hell. :)

Thank you, sir. Now I'm using the AlexBrennan hotmail account and can recieve emails from hard-light .

I hope I didn't missed anything important when I was using the dead gmail account.

Thank you again. This thread can be closed at your discretion.  :)

You missed several of the hourly HLP newsletters I'm afraid.

I wish the Admins at the Filefront Forums would act that fast. Almost one year past since i requested that an old account get either deleted or merged with my actual one.

The difference is that we care on the HLP.

...Well, at least Kara seems to care.

And it's been demonstrated why closing support threads after they have been sorted out is a good idea. :p
