..Some of you must be checking this forum.
You knew what you were doing, but had no idea what you started.
Whatever bizarre turns the thing will take, your work will not be forgotten..
Thanks, a lot!

Actually dude I'm not sure any of them check this forum - but it's a nice gesture

Whats that?

:v: peeps list I think.
-
Hope :v: escapes THQs grasp...
Good Luck V, if I ever get the time to get an english PS2, I might play Summoner 2 ;)
-
According to DaveB, THQ is the best thing that happened to :v:, and stated that people should stop with all the bad corporations crap.
I tend to agree with him for various reasons ( w/o THQ, :V: would be dead I guess. You can't live on your own if you don't mass-sell products, and stuff like FS2 clearly didn't ) Go flame me if you want, I don't care.
-
Volition was indeed a great company at one time, but I think that ever since four or five months after the release of FS2, things really went downhill. Who knows what really happened; maybe there was a major change in their internal structure or something. In any case, as it stands now, I really have zero respect for them as well as THQ. Their creation remains a true masterpiece, however.
Go flame me if you want, I don't care.

You got that right. Who could resist free doughnuts and bagels?

Well, 's probably true. Face it, I'm sure the :v: guys would just LOVE to go on and make endless sequels to the same dull game year after year for a small group of fanatics, but truth be told there are other things out there, and I do believe some of them might even recognize that the surest way to kill something good is to set up a franchise of sequels. Hell, I'd outright leave it :v: started going Westwood on us, and don't really see how anyone expected anything else.

IceFire is on that list heh...he should be

Reach for the moon...
even if you miss, you will land among the stars
unless you enter the outer photosphere of the sun
in which case, you will burn up horrably and die
-
Summoner was a good, fun, game. It also had a well built plot with lots of twists and good continuity. Red Faction has a solid 3d engine, though the single player experience could have been more refined.
They may not be perfect, but both were fun.
Summoner 2 I'm more then looking forward to, and I do dearly hope an out of house PC conversion will be done.

Actually I think all the games from :v: were/are fun, and that's what games should be at least
