My favourite (discounting the Thor which is my own) is the GTI Archeron by Robin Varley. It's an excellent model, well textured and well balanced, plus it fills an empty niche (small, easily assembled frontier style station which is well defended).

The Robotech MOD. Flying semi-transformable Veritechs/Valkryies rules. :)

"This is SDF-1, we are under attack and need immediate support. Assume Guardian configuration."

B5 of course but OTT will get the 1 place when it will be ready. (at least I hope so) :p

I really like some of the models in DA, but I don't think I am allowed to mention their names. :D Aside from those, the SD Diablo is a very nice model.

You guys mis-understand.  When I say MOD, I mean stuff like Derelict or "The Babylon Project".

They're campaigns with MODs, at least Derelict. I don't know what TBP should be called. Maybe it's campaign also. ;)

Mmm... I dunno about B5, it's the only TC I've seen, and it's cool and all, but it just seems like a ripoff of a show I've never seen. Possibly OTT, when it comes out, or (even better) BWO.

TBP is total conversion, it changes everything in FS2 that is possible to change. It is still a mod though. And for campaigns, it will have many historical battles seen in the actual show or movies, but mostly TBP-made campaigns will follow strictly B5 main storyline. Of course there might be small conflicts but we aren't perfect. :)
Examples for upcoming TBP campaigns: Earth - Minbari war (larger version of the demo campaign), Earth Alliance Civil war and Narn - Centauri war only to name few first.

I don't know what I should say of "ripoff comment", but out TC is based on Babylon 5 TV-show and movies, the best scifi-series I have ever seen. You should watch it sometimes, first season is not that good though. But Shadow war and EA Civil war are the seasons you should watch.

Anyways, I'm waiting for Blackwater Ops, that should be very nice mod indeed.
I don't really care of "few ships and weapons" mods as there is thousands of them, some are very good and some are not. I prefer larger projects that are trying to improve FS2 with iron fist, like BWO. (No, I'm not saying that IceFire is a dictator  )

TBP without a doubt. That Mod is brilliant. I only hope the second release is as good (or better) :)

The Babylon Project release 2 will take the mod to new heights of excellence.  There will be a few things not seen before to my knowledge and will see basically all earth ships complete.

Not everyone. You'd have to look hard to even find the name of my project :)

I`m not going to start pimping until I`m 95% ready for beta testing. Until then I`m keeping quiet :)

Can I say mine? Can I? huh? huh?

Apart from mine then err..... B5
mine!!! mine!!!!
TCs rule by the way (just incase you didn't know that)
(the best thing about mine is... im a perfectionist and sofar I have done everything my self (including the second test of the demo version (REALLY low in production scale, its just to learn how to do things but its useful to show people the models so they can tell me whats wrong with them.........;))

I have said more than I set out to say, which is usually the case

TBP impresses me to no end (well, actually it doesn't, but it still impresses me a helluva lot). Major kudos. :)

When will it be out and approx. how big will the d/l be?

58 megs for the core files of release 1? Yeah that's pretty impressive. Except for the fact that I'm at .08 MB and the file seems to have been deleted from the server I was trying to get it from. Doesn't look like I'll be seeing it anytime soon which will leave me with one unanswered question: Did they actually put the B5 station in it? Doesn't look like it from the site.

The demo release only has 5 missions and is set during the Earth-Minbari war (i.e 10 years before babylon 5 was built!). It's still good enough to have me drooling while waiting for the next release :)

It will be in the Release 2. CptWhite is currently texturing it, and it looks damn impressive!

Cool. Hopefully the download links will work better when R2 comes out.

C'mon, you can be more specific than that... :doubt:

How about "Quite Large"? :D

I'd have to say that the one I'm most looking forward to is BWO. From the ones that have already been released, Derelict stands apart - it's imaginative, fun, and damn big. ;)
