Title: Stardock Has Received Permission to Re-Publish Total Annihilation.
Post by: SpardaSon21 on March 03, 2010, 06:17:42 pm
This really isn't related to Supreme Commander in any way (aside from SupCom being TA's spiritual successor, kind of), so I thought I would make a separate topic.

As the title states, Stardock has received permission from the current IP-holder of TA, Atari, to sell it on their Impulse platform.  http://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/377352 (http://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/377352)

Stardock has also received permission from Atari to release patches for it, which will streamline multiplayer, add functionality with Impulse Reactor, and add fan-created content to the "official" release.  The version of TA Stardock is selling will also include The Core Contingency expansion pack.

Yes, Stardock, the people behind Galactic Civilizations 2, and the publishers of Sins of a Solar Empire and Demigod.
