As the title suggests...
I have the minimum specs for running FS2, but the engine has come a long way since then - as have the graphics, models etc..
What would you say are the minimum specs to run the latest version of FSU on FreeSpace 2 with all features enabled?
Many thanks :)

God, can you please not ask these questions all over the place? I think I answered that one here: http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=68631.msg1355540#msg1355540
Short recap: Shader Model 3.0 enabled card (only for normal maps and post processing, OpenGL 2.0 compliant if you can live without them), recent-ish CPU at or above 1 GHz, 1 GB+ of RAM.

This thread's meant for FSOpen with the MediaVPs.
-
As I said, I wanted to get as much feedback as possible. I'll remove both threads when they've served their purpose but believe me they're for a greater good :)
-
Uh, wouldn't one thread have sufficed? Or if not, couldn't the other one be at the SCP board?
-
See previous answer.

Just that... you have two threads asking for the exactly same thing. (ok, the other one says "FSO" and the other one says "FSU" but still) And they're on the same board. I just fail to see the wisdom behind it. Wouldn't it make more sense to boot the "FSO" thread over to the SCP board?
Bah, never mind. Your plan, not mine.

I've gotten too many detentions in the past month for questioning how much sense a teacher's action make. I've learned my lesson for the time being

Ack, I do apologise.
In my haste I didn't realise I had posted both topics to the same board (and each time I've visited them - I book marked both so I thought that they were on separate boards - so I didn't realise the mistake).
They were originally meant to be on separate boards all along, hence the wording etc. I just mucked up by posting them on the same board. So sorry!
I've moved the relevant topic and left a redirect in its place. Will be paying more attention to what is going where next time.

Runs fine on an Intel GMA 950 (without normal maps, of course)
