Congratulations! Your FreeSpace Open install/upgrade has completed! However, there may still be a few more things you have to do. If there is any text below this paragraph, please read it carefully, as it contains important information that you will need to know.
Post-Installation Notes for FreeSpace Open 3.6.10 Windows Executables
You'll need OpenAL to play the game. You can get OpenAL here:
http://www.openal.org/downloads.html
You'll also need to run the application Launcher.exe in the folder you just installed to. Once it opens, make sure the box at the top says <The Folder You Installed To>\fs2_open_3_6_10.exe. You can play around with the options on the tabs, just make sure to leave it in OpenGL unless you're having serious problems, as D3D support is flakey.
Post-Installation Notes for Multiplayer Missions
IMPORTANT NOTE: There was an error while installing this section. You may need to run the Installer again in order to ensure that this section works correctly.
Post-Installation Notes for FreeSpace Modding Tools
To use these tools go to <The Folder You Installed To>\tools\
Post-Installation Notes for Shivans
IMPORTANT NOTE: There was an error while installing this section. You may need to run the Installer again in order to ensure that this section works correctly.
Post-Installation Notes for Twilight
IMPORTANT NOTE: There was an error while installing this section. You may need to run the Installer again in order to ensure that this section works correctly.
I tried running the installer again, but the same errors. It doesn't/can't DL those mods.
Any ideas?
Cheers

Aside from getting OpenAL, you can just ignore the rest. Find a place to download Twilight and Shivans! manually if you want to play them.

Being dealt with over IRC.

Followed Instructions from IRC,
Still errors, so will find manual downloads for them.
No danger. ;)
Thanks for the help

Those indeed are NOT game-stopping errors. The Installer just failed to download the multiplayer missions, Shivans! and Twilight. You can ignore them all unless you want to play multiplayer or either one of the user-made campaigns.

I had the same message in this post for all but the only thing I should tell you is I had openAL installed 2..0.3.0 but it still did not see this for some reason. I searched and found what I needed in this post since I did not want the multiplayer missions I am good to go :). This is the best install I had so issues I even used turkey's installer great work all.

turkey's installer
Hmm. I wonder if I've happened to see this misspelling before.
