Title: Please check this little issue
Post by: Rodo on April 11, 2010, 11:50:58 am
While making some minor adjustments to some mission, I found that there's an annoying little issue with the lock-afterburner sexp.

It turns out that if you are caught by the lock-afterburner sexp while using it, the game will continue playing the sound (but will not mantain afterburner speed) until you unlock the afterburner via sexp and use it again (if you don't unlock it, it will play forever I guess).

This is quite annoying, specially if you enter in a long cutscene where the player is supposed to be locked from all action.

Provided an example mission for ya' all to suffer.

Sorry... I would have made a Mantis entry but... it seems impossible for me to register :S

oh yes... I'm using 3.6.12 RC2.

NOTE:
haven't been able to make this happen with the lock-primary or lock-secondary (might be because I'm just too slow or the sexp is too fast), but my guess is that they have the same problem.

Well I was sure it's supposed to go into mantis, but now I have my doubts.

Yes, Mantis would indeed be the correct address.

Have you checked your spam folder for the mantis registration mail?

Tried to register several months ago, so if the mail was indeed in the spam folder it must be already deleted.
Anyways I recall checking the spam folder a couple of times and nothing was there...
I'll try with mantis again in a couple of hours.

Success, reported in mantis.
