Title: script writers needed
Post by: KillMeNow on April 15, 2002, 05:45:38 pm: me and darkage are doinga shortish film 3d of cource but while we been working on effects etc neither of us has much idea of writing storys - its not freespace based just a space combat thing where humans are being slaughters after a disaterous first contact

if you want to (could be bothered), that is. im not too good at the script part but i _can_ write stories...:) and its not too hard to translate story into script

Sounds alot like the opening scene of Timothy Zahn's Conquerors series. :D

Thanks dude. Yeah, if you want... Most of my stuff's kinda weird. You could try sticking up rn.doc, whrm.doc, msc.wrld.doc, prlllwrlds.doc... if you like, wr.f.mrn.doc. But that last one's your choice...
None of it's sci-fi. I have to get used to writing sci-fi again...

It still deals with humanity's first contact with a race on equal footing's starting with violence, but it's quite a bit different...

Post by: KillMeNow on April 17, 2002, 11:35:33 am: yup i descided to tell in mine and darkages plot we were going to have unstopable ship heading for earth and we develop a large weapon to stop it and when teh fianl battle is joined we fire the weapon at it and as the bolt speeds across space towards the ship the alien fires at earth a fraction of a second before expoding but the shot then speeds towards earth and bang - bye bye earth hehe so better eanding ( hm well more fun ending then that of the earth minbari war )

icespeed if you want you can offer your sevices to ace since hes the offical scipt writer now - haven't read anything of yours yet but jsut about to =)
