basically its an RTS, BUT WITH TIME TRAVEL
that's right, TIME TRAVEL.

command units in past, present, and future, and send units back/forward in time aswell, changing in the timeline take time to propegate though, and it spares itself from paradoxes it seems.
new indie game in development, can 'buy' now and play the current version like in natural selection and the like.
the possibilities have been boggling my mind.

Looks good. Vorlons, Collectors, and cyborg ninjas from MGS

I'd probably **** my brains out trying to play that.
What happens if you lose in past but win in the future?
-
How could it possibly know you're going to send units from the future? Unless you do send units from the future and get to replay from the moment you sent them?

basicially you'll have to send some units back to stop it or go back even further to try to stop the base disappearing as the 'time wave' created from the altered timeline (your base blowing up) propigates, eliminating the future base somewhat gradually.

well, in the game, you're above the ingame realm of time, able to freely move forward and back a couple minutes to give orders,
or so the videos lead me to believe.
fascinating concept, no?

It'd probably tear my brain to shreds, but it sounds like a lot of fun. :)

You can't. You replay it.
The game has what the designers call a "timewave" feature, changes in the past take time to perpetuate into the present.
What this means is that instead of playing at a single instance in time like it's normal, you are playing in an interval of time.
The awesome part seems to be the paradoxes.

This game sounds so awesome, but at the same time, it seems likely to break my brain XD
