Title: Subboard for associated utilities?

With the release of PCS2's source, and the rediscovery of ModelViews code, not to mention other projects like the wxLauncher, I wonder if it would be a good idea to make a subforum (set up as a child of the SCP board) for these projects?

Wasn't this discussed and supposed to be done after the last SCP meeting anyway?

It was supposed to be done for any projects which we brought under our wing and made official SCP products.


So far we haven't done that with anything, thus no board.

I believe it was supposed to be done for any projects that didn't fall under SCP.  If they fell under SCP the they would fit into the SCP forum and private.  It was to give the public and the people working on the code a place to get together for ideas and bugs not unlike any other hosted HLP project. 

Things that would fall into this would be PCS2, the new launcher, and I can't remember what else without going back to the logs.

And Modelview, VP utilities, Fonttool (I guess)...

a "FreeSpace 2 Tools Development" forum (public) under FS2 Modding or under SCP would be good.

Board added. It's not an SCP sub-board because none of those projects (except fonttool) are currently affiliated with the SCP and I didn't want it to look like the SCP was making a land grab. :p

Let's not get ahead of ourselves.  The SCP and the FSUP both have internal forums; the FSTP does not. :p

Change the pic slightly and it's way better then those banned ones.  :P
