Title: Solcommand models conversion
Post by: x3110 on May 25, 2010, 12:25:23 pm
Hey,
i just wanted to know if anyone has converted SolCommands models into pof format??
By the looks of it they have to look great in-game!
I was specially curious are the models used in any mod\campaign(or intended to be used)??
EDIT:can a moderator add a "Solcommand models conversion'?'" in the topic heading,i forgot and it gives wrong impression!

I've grabbed a few for temp use in FringeSpace, what Sol has though is for another game
and most are not textured. So there's "a lot" of editing to be done on both the modeling, texturing,
and rigging sides.

Most of them I don't have in game, even after doing the editing.

Whenever there is the name of modelling I quit;
Thanks for the reply though,i thought everyone forgot about it.
I just wanted to see all the how the glasswork would look in-game.

None of the glass on his models is actually "glass," it's a non-transparent texture.

You'd be well served by looking at my PCS2 guide, which would
teach you some about 3ds max. It's not a huge step from what
I show there to using modeling guides which are linked in the back of the tut.

One of these months I'll get back on track to finishing v.2 of the darn thing.
