Title: Help with 3ds Max 2010

Can anyone please help me with 3ds max 2010? I am trying to create an stargate hyperspace window effect but i am not sure on how to do this. I have got my ship modelled and everything i just don't know how to get the jump to hyperspace effect. Do you know of any good tutorial sites that can help me?

PS i am a beginner to 3d max
