Title: Help finding a thread? (Yes, I used the search function)
Post by: el_magnifico on June 07, 2010, 08:40:57 pm
I'm probably going to sound like a noob when I ask this, but I swear I can't find that thread where Snail and MarsOfWar... let's say... exchanged opinions about each other's sexual orientations.
The posts in Missionaries of hate have been removed and there doesn't seem to be a split anywhere. Moreover, everything seems to have been deleted. I even checked on some users' last posts and didn't find anything. In fact, MarsOfWar's last posts on his profile are completely empty.

Is there anything wrong in my side? Were those posts removed intentionally? Should I stop talking about it right now?

They appear to have been deleted from the Forum.

As far as I know they were deleted.  Sometimes some stuff just gets deleted.  I don't know why, since what happened there was essentially the same as the iamzack/Turambar mononucleosis grandslam finals thread a while back...but it definitely got erased.

And yeah...the search function's been broken for a long long time.  It's practically useless.

EDIT: Damn you Flip and your shorter answers.

Oh! :( And I had GIMPed something based on the gay banner to "congratulate" them.

Well, at least now I know I wasn't doing anything wrong with the search function.

Anyway, thank you all for the replies.

The original post I had planned was something like this:

Well, if I'm getting all this "beaming tradition" right, then I guess now it would be polite to say:

That's it. Nothing too elaborated, intended more as a "sidenote" than anything else.

I'm not quite certain why the threads were fully removed from the Forum, but that was the decision made :)

But yeah, that Beam's pretty funny ;)

Yeah, well, while we're at it, it's been a year and a half and I'm still waiting for my welcome beam...

EDIT: No. I can see your intentions now...

Woah, I thought things weren't allowed to be deleted

Have you ever wondered where all the spam threads went to? As in, not the kind of rubbish regular members post - those get locked - but the kind of rubbish that spambots drop here once in a while.
