Freespace : Alpha and Omega

It is the year 2214. Mankind has fully colonized the Sol system and is once again bound by a frontier.... A frontier that has already been crossed is once again in our way... Space...

10 Years ago Terran Fleet Command send out a expedition but lost all contact with them after only 2 months. Now they have returned... Or at least what is left of it. From the 5 cruisers and 4 Frigates only 1 Cruiser ,the  TFCr Dagger ,and 1 Frigate ,the TFFr  Goodwill returned.

They reported that a hostile race has attacked them and kept them from returning to Sol. They claimed that we were traspassing in their territory. Even so...that does not justify the deaths of numerous innocents. The survivors also informed Terran Intelligence that they had found a way to cross a vast distance of space through Nodes... And one of those nodes is just outside Sol...

Although this unkown species has committed a hostile act the TFC has decided to try to make contact with this unknown species in a peacefull way...

Now that the frontier has once again been broken... We shall never be confined again...

U have a big mess with the years. 2214...they already were in sol or I'm mistaken?

...Sol = Home system....

I know that sol is our homeworld (DUH)

But the only drawback is that this campaign won't contain any new ships... Would you guys mind it if I were to make two/three new races with the existing ships. (BTW its FS1)

Ok
It would  be kinda cool, for someone to make a campaign for the first couple years of The Great War, though, and that storyline sounds so much like it, it's not funny;):D

I think i should change it to the first couple of years of the Great War. No new races ,etc...

But I will use the original freespace timeline from the moment that subspace was invented to the beginning of the Great War.
