Title: RTCW, Unknown Error....

Alright, I'm not getting much help elsewhere, so I'll ask here.
This just started happening to me.
When I try to launch the game I get an error box with nothing in it but an OK button. I have it patched, latest video drivers, latest Direct X. I'm running it on:
Windows XP
P3 600
Radeon 7200
SoundBlaster Live
256 ram
I've tried every trick I know, disabled AA, disabled Antistropic filtering, among other things. Still nothing.
I'm about ready to shoot the first person to walk through the door....

You tryed reinstalling it? and patch it again?

Repeatedly..
It takes a goddamn half hour to install too...

Try installing to a different directory.  I had a similar problem a while ago and I couldn't get past it until I installed it to "Games2".  I've got no idea why that worked, but it did.
