Title: mediavps and other mods aren't working

Hey!

FS is working like a charm without any mod loaded (the fsport mod works too) with all options on, but loading mediavps or  mods that use them doesn't work.
After the intro clip the game shows a message stating that "The currently active mod has generated 191 errors/warnings". The game crashes after I enter the ready room.

I'm running the game underArch Linux using an intel GM45 integrated card, which sucks but worked with mediavps about a year ago (I zero-filled my disk since then and only now I'm trying to play again).

How can I provide you with more info? I don't know where the logs are kept.

Run a debug build. Log files will be in ~/.fs2_open/data

Also, just as a guess, you will need to install DRIConf or something to activate texture compression support.

Installing DRIconfig and enabling texture compression nailed it :P
