Okay, seriously.

We have a no tolerance policy for piracy around here. No tolerance at all. If you want to play FS2, get it legitimately from Goodoldgames, where it's available in a working distribution for just 6$.

As the Forum rules quite clearly state, linking directly to pirated software is a bannable offence.

So yeah. Unlike you, I am quite certain those files are corrupt. Why? Because it's not on my list of "known good" distributions.

No. Or not yet anyways. But by pissing on the IP holders' shoes, you've most likely decreased your status around here.

Relax, you don't have to leave. Good conduct and fair play will get you back in everybody's good graces in no time.

Stick around, we're a happy forgiving bunch. Play some campaigns, do some FREDding.

I have felt quite accepted here and I only have been here a few months. I highly recommend the IRC channel to get to know everyone.

You're lucky it was The E who spotted it and not Fury. You probably would have been banned.
