even on a destroyer, there's times when nothing happens and even the fighters stay asleep...
I'm happy, I've achieved to make the fighters look a bit organic ( Tau ships are more or less based on Ancient tech), which I completly failed ingame :(

i would have made the lights red for liek night vission to make it abit more realistic ( iprefer red too) but other than that very very very impresed - NICE ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful though there's something I don't like about the ceiling lights.

Who cares about the ceiling lights, LOOK AT THIS :jaw: . Ok, the ceiling lights are a bit...wrong, and I still don't see the organic look you refer to. Might be me though.

Yeah ummmm...WOW! That's awesome! How do you render inside stuff? I only know how to do space and stuff. Yeah, the lights bug me a little but on the whole it's so cool that it doesn't really matter.:yes:
-
mmh... the ceiling lights? I assume you mean the yellow ones (the white ones are on the wall actually) ? What's wrong with them, you say they're not right but you don't say why :p
Cprsair: inside? well, I do the sme way than for outside views...

but..but....but HOW???

well, I use Max, I put some models, some lightning, some video post effects ( light glows), et voila.

Don't suppose you could explain to me how the hell you get VP to work?

I know, I'm very funny :p
But to stupid question... it's like asking how do you use photoshop. If I ask you that, what would you reply? hmm?

Personally I wouldn't have used so much bump-mapping on the fighters and the back wall, having it a bit fuzzy looks better then too sharp.
On the floor, having a clear runway or deck blocks instead of the grating alone, some oil spills, and doo-dads like the "battery pack" and such in the FS1 mainhall would also look like a nice add on.
Other then that, nice ;)

That's fantastic. :) The volumetric yellow lights look good and I would prefer them to red in this particular render, since the idea is rest, not franticness or action. The place looks great; you even pulled off the dudes standing there... the only thing I can pick that isn't great is where the ladders meet the cockpits, and the low-res maps are really highlighted by the contrast between sinewy ladders and broad, bump-mapped textures on the fighters. :)
I really like this. It's original, if nothing else. :D Well done.

Nice. Although the pilot seems a bit, well, squat. where's the model from? your own?
Must get back to modelling.....

yeah, I did the pilots from scratch ( was too lazy to make a guard variant... ). In a cockpit he looks better coz you don't see much of him :p
for the "squat" thinguy... well, originally, he was a knigth :p I just changed the head and the maps to put him in FS2.

Cool, just one thing: the holes on the grate on the floor are big enough for one of those guys to get his leg stuck into them... :D

just pretend there's smaller grids you can't see :p ( I knew about this already, but tiling the thing more looked ugly)

Sweet render! :D

Very good! :nod::yes:
I like those bump-maps, but those yellow lights aren't best. But it's good. ;)
