Sup guys, I have a problem with the What If campaign. I've downloaded all that it asked me in the release thread, but the game doesn't run properly. I get a message saying I have 151 errors as soon as I start the game.
I have no clue why it won't run. I've tried the version from http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56156.0
and a different one, both with the same problem. I have downloaded StormFrontStock like it asked and installed them like it said.

Your fs2_open.log (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56279.msg1180359#msg1180359) would reveal whether or not you've actually succeeded in the installation procedure.

I have a similar problem. I got the message about having ### of errors, but I was able to skip it and continue to play. After a couple of missions however, I get a error and cannot continue.

-mod WhatIf,stromfrontstock,fsport-mediavps,fsport,mediavps
There's a typo here. See if you spot it (Hint: "Storm" is spelled "S T O R M")
Found root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\mediavps\data\HTL_Moloch.vp' with a checksum of 0x874ec910
Found root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\mediavps\data\NaRR10_Nebulae.vp' with a checksum of 0x5985ba1d
These are in the wrong place. They should not be in mediavps\data, but either in \mediavps (If you really can't live without them) or in a separate mod folder.
Found root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fsport\HellGateIkeya-music.vp' with a checksum of 0x22fc3a8e
Found root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fsport\HellGateIkeya-v1_1.vp' with a checksum of 0x85c63000
Found root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fsport\LoA_music.vp' with a checksum of 0xd5e41aaa
Found root pack 'C:\Games\FreeSpace2\fsport\TheLightOfAntares-v1_1.vp' with a checksum of 0x9971dd79
Same here.

At any rate, I recall even SF-Junky saying it was a buggy mess. That said, I played through it and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well, the mess has been cleaned up a pretty long time ago. At least it should... :nervous:
