I have no idea if this has been asked already but:
If :v: decides to confirm the speculation that Saint's Row, Red Faction and FreeSpace all take part in the same universe, will info about SR and RF be added to the Wiki?
-
Why? It would still be the FS wiki, not the Saint's Row or Red Faction wiki.

I never said anything about merging the SR, FS and RF wikias. What I had in mind was the SR & RF games in position on the wiki on the FS timeline and a page about each with links to the relevant wiki - nothing like, say...memory alpha wikia
-
I'd like the idea of adding external links, but not much more than that.
By the way, why would they decide to merge these universes? What's your source?
-
Well, if you take certain easter eggs for canon....
Let's see, the big bad in Red Faction is the Ultor Corporation, which also features prominently in Saint's Row 2.
And in Red Faction Guerilla, there's a mention of Subach's stock falling in one of the newscasts.
-
I think those are shout outs, nothing more.
-
Noooooooooooo it's all true.....
I always felt it.
-
The games are so separated from each other, it doesn't even matter if they take place in the same universe or not.
-
Given that there are random Martian ALIENS attacking your base in Red Faction: Armageddon, I doubt they could really take place in the same time line since the Vasudans were the first complex/sentient extraterrestrials encountered.

Or were they? In the time between Red Faction and FreeSpace, public and private interests may have white-washed history of their genocide of the one other intelligent species in the Sol system.

Seriously, if they're all in the same universe, the events of Saint's Row and Red Faction are hardly worth a mention in a timeline on a FreeSpace wiki. The events of those game series may have taken place in the same universe as FreeSpace, but they didn't really influence the those in or immediately leading up to FreeSpace. Unless the ties between the series start to appear a lot more causal as subsequent Saint's Row/Red Faction games are released, it doesn't really matter whether or not they happen in the FreeSpace universe.

There's Martians in Descent 3... :nervous:

Mutants (http://home.comcast.net/~blueflames/MartianMuties.png), not aliens.
...
What? You don't remember that kind of thing off the top of your head? :nervous:

I think the "Aliens" are surviving mutants from Capek's Experiments in Red Faction 1.
I just think if :v: decides to confirm the speculation that adding (Below) to the Time line just to acknowledge them happeningand maybe a page with a basic summery and/or external links
2003: Saints Row
2008: Saints Row II
20??: Saints Row III
2075: Red Faction
2083: Red Faction II (I'm treating mentions of 21** dates in the manual as typos)
2125: Red Faction: Guerilla
2175: Red Faction: Armageddon
The RFverse seems to be a crapsack enough world to fit in with FS...Not to mention that it would give us some idea of what life in Sol is like post FS1...
Hmm...Just had an Idea for a Sol based campaign
-
might make for a fun conspiracy type page.....
/me starts thinking if there could be a campaign plot based on this
-
Red faction 2 took place on earth and It's entirely possible the nano-soldiers founded the GTI
