btw, how do u put a counter that shows how many times something has been downloaded/viewed here?
-
If you're allowed to post attachments...but it's used more for modelers.
As for the render, that's really cool. I like it a lot. (took a long time to load for me though. :() The Deimos torn apart is awesome

It's hosted on Tripod and it looks like your bandwidth has been used up...therefore can't see it :)

You can put it on the site itself.... it can be a java**** counter, perl counter, php counter, asp counter.... the list goes on

Is it just me, or does the Shivan look... manga-ish? The rest of the image looks photorealistic, so its throwing me off. All in all, its a very sexy pic.
-
The Planet needs to be blurred too
other than that, kewl
-
Looks very good... the way the beams look makes me think they're done in Max... am I correct?
-
nope, just photoshop. not started figuring out max yet, though i really want to cos the lighting n shadows will come out better there.
-
why should the planet be blurred?

If the Gargant is so clear and crisp, something that is hundreds of kilometres behind it should be blurry. :)
For anyone who can't figure out the Gargant, I have a glory render of it:

 Be careful when blurring though, or else you'll end up making the ships look tiny.
-
when is the next reder contest anyways shrike?;7
or was the last one too big a mess for u to want to have another one?:D
*runs*

True, though you won't need to worry about that if it's a background you're blurring. ;)
