Do you want to reopen the topic?closing a topic causes people to talk about it elsewhere if there was still a desire to talk about it.
Of course, the first was basically a tech-demo. Maybe in the next episode or two, we'll get some plot going.

I think I read somewhere that they're supposed to be mercenaries, not US military. So that might have something to do with it. Or it may just be artistic license.
Of course, the first was basically a tech-demo. Maybe in the next episode or two, we'll get some plot going.this is a common literary technique, just drop the audience/reader into the middle of some random adventure to get the accustomed to the quirks of the world o the story before you start throwing plot developments into the mix. this is especially common in anime where it is effectively the default way to start up a story.
It's also used in several other pieces of literature, most notably the Illiad. The technique itself is called in media res, basically "In the middle of things."/me notes that he does know a little bit about basic storytelling and the techniques thereof. -.-
And, if you ask me, for the same reason. It's probably unlikely that anyone outside Japan is going to have a chance to see this stuff without resorting to such nefarious and immoral methods. The amount of fansubs I have lying around means that I agree with that concept, but given our usual content guidelines, I'm not sure that posting direct links is the best move. You can still discuss a show without spelling out how to get it, after all. :p
