Title: problem with sounds

I'm having some problems with the sound in FS. I installed the new FSO and some sounds from the main menu are missing and some other sounds during gameplay suddenly stop working for a moment (dialogs, weapons...). I reinstalled the whole game and i still have the same problem. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

EDIT: thought i had the log included :sigh:... my bad

Try selecting "Generic Software" as the sound device in the "Audio/Joystick" tab of the launcher.
