It seems Woomeister won't be able to convert any more ship until next september... that means we need someone else to fill in the gap till then. that means someone able to do any TS stuff work: turreting, submodels, map smoothing etc etc etc, with a computer able to handle models with many submodels, and TS4.3.
If I can't find someone to help, it's simple: OTT will be on hold for the following 5 months.
Anyway, I'm asking here for serious people, really willing to help: we're talking about converting about 20 more ships, and I don't want someone how will say "yeah, ok, I'll help" and do nothing for weeks. I'd rather wait for September then.
Voila.

:bump: come guy's he needs hel;p whit this.

Wish I could help, but we all remember the last time I tried to convert. :D

Time to start scaling back campaigns, releasing missions and some of the ships, and release missions that need unfinished ships as they become available.

Never, I for one would never scale back the 158th project, doing so would be the same as quitting as far as I'm concerned.

Foiled again!

Hm... I gotta finish that tutorial and post it. Converters are in high demand lately.
-
I think he may have a point there when it comes to some of the overly ambitious projects out there; either cut down on the work or release it in pieces. ;)
Anyway, regarding the subject matter, I could do just the conversion part (as I have the necessary programs) but I am still a real newbie to modeling, so I don't think I could do anything beyond that.

Yep and i happen to have TS5 which can handle big stuff.
-
I'd offer to help, but a) I don't have TS installed right now, b) I'm not that good with turreting ( I hate it, most times) and c) I seriously lack time.

Bah, I misunderstood Woomeister, it's just till june.

I don't think I'm that ambitious, otherwise I wouldn't already have all that stuff done... And if I cut anything, I can as well cancel the campaign, coz it would make no sense

well, I just ask for someone being able to glue the lights for the subobjects, move the turret axis to a propper place, smooth the maps when needed, all that truespace crap. I don't ask for a modeller or anything, that's my job.
-
Alllllllllrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiight, I'll do it............. but don't expect more than one model per month because I am really pressed for time
Consider me as kind of a last resort
-
cool :)
well, get online, coz I have one single model to convert ASAP, it's almost done ( woomeister didn't have time to finish it), it just needs a few adjustements.

someone to unstick this?
