Title: Freespace Machinima?

I've been thinking about this for a little while. Wouldn't it be pretty cool to recreate the most intense scenes from Freespace 2 but make them all cinematic and stuff?

I need to know how to disable the HUD. I know there is an obvious answer to this, but I've looked and found no way to do so. If anyone could tell me, that would be much appreciated.
