Title: Problem with scaling down resolution
Post by: schmurdel on August 18, 2010, 08:18:09 am
Hello folks,

yesterday i got in contact with that fantastic project. I played freespace 1 and 2 with great pleasure and so i searched the old discs ans installed all
the way it is described. It works with one exception. I cannot play with a hicher resolution than 800*600. I searched this forum for my problem and i matched one topic that described the same(my) problem.
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?action=printpage;topic=65300.0 (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?action=printpage;topic=65300.0). I was lucky, but  :hopping: they found no solution.
My Windows is a Vista 32 Bit. In the registry all is set to 1920*1200. My desktop runs at that resolution. The Launcher and the fsopen file has administrative rights. In the flag field i tried -res1920*1200,

WHAT CAN I DO ELSE?? Try an old launcher?

Really thanks for helping!

What you can do is read the FSO FAQ (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php?topic=56279.0) and post an fs2_open.log.
