It means you haven't read and followed the install instructions. It means you are not using the 3.6.12 Inferno build this mod needs.

Yep, please make sure you're on 3.6.12 Final.

I apologise. and besides, i have another question seeing as more errors appeared and i made sure i downloaded every.

I tried that and im still getting the same error in addition to not being able to click any buttons on the command briefing. Im also getting an message when i start up saying something about 66 errors caused by the mod file and that the source code will try to supplement etc etc

Post a debug log, we'll have it fixed right quick.

Okay. Now go into FreeSpace2/data/, get the file called fs2open.log, and post it here. That will allow us to fix the problem.

Okay. You've got two big problems:
1) Rename your War in Heaven folder to blueplanet2
2) Download the 3.6.12 MediaVPs, extract them to a folder called mediavps_3612.
If that doesn't fix it let me know, should still be an easy solution.
