Title: The cockpitview, where to find it?
Post by: Crazy_Ivan80 on August 23, 2010, 06:40:47 am
I've recently noticed (yes, I don't play FS much anymore these days, though I do try to stay abreast of new campaigns) that there's a 33d cockpitview mod thingy out since I don't know when.

As I have no idea where to actually find it so it can be added to the game (assuming it's not already installed with the new material of the most recent SCP and its graphical upgrade component) I'm asking here:

where can I find the nice and shiny cockpits? :)

tnx.

Cockpits on Terran fighters in Mediavps and BP: AoA.
No Vasudans, I'll someday make a mode for them.

This is what I did and it seems to work:

go to mediavps_3612 and select "data"
make folders named "maps" "tables" and "models".
Put everything that's pof in the new "models" folder.  Next everything that's a tbm into the "tables" folder. Now put everthing that's left into the "maps" folder.

Hopefully this doesn't scare anybody, but it seems to work.

thanks, this just shows how long ago it is that I actually dabbled in this. The game, let alone myself, was young then.
