I think we did this at one point as part of the "what do you drive?" thread, but let's do it again!
If you had to pick three cars, one being a daily driver, the second a family/utility car, and the third being your dream car/weekender, what would they be?
EDIT: Oh yeah, probably oughta put mine down too.
DD: Toyota Prius or Nissan Leaf. (For just a neighborhood cruising car, a simple solar-powered NEV (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neighborhood_Electric_Vehicle) would do just fine though)
Utility: Keeping my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 Ext Cab, 318 CID V8, 4x4 Auto.
Dream car: Late 60s convertible DeVille.

Most likely all the same.
Most likely all hybrids.
Everybody and their dog has a flashy car around here. I mean Jesus, I see people driving Bentleys around Poway. Bentleys for chrissakes. I don't want flashy, I want it to run, cheaply, forever.

2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sedan
Toyota Tacoma TRD Double Cab, 6 Speed Manual
"Highland Green" 1968 Ford Mustang GT 390 CID Fastback
-
i would own a ford pinto, an el camino, and a harley davidson. in no particular order.
-
Blue Datsun 240Z w/ 280Z L28 Twin Turbo engine
Tesla Roadster
GMC Arcadia or Buick Rendezvous
Own one of those already. :)
-
Daily: Jetta TDi
Utility: A new Jeep Cherokee (if only)/Grand Cherokee
Dream Car: M1A4 Abrams? Don't really keep up with sports cars considering they're all well above any realistic price range for me.
-
Shelby GT390, for all three categories. Well, might have a '54 Gullwing on the side for special occasions. Realistically though, I wouldn't mind a Mazda 2 for day to day driving needs :)
-
a nice ferrari to sell, a viper mk2 to drive to work, and a honda accord for getting around in a non-flashy manner
-
For daily driving a full electric car should be enough. For the second car it would be something that can do a little off roading on the weekends, if I end up doing that in the distant future.
As for a dream car, I seriously have no idea. I wouldn't really need anything more than those two I mentioned, even that's a long way off.

I don't drive, but I'll put my preferences down here anyway (please don't kill me). :nervous:
Daily car: Honda Civic
Utility car: Jeep Commander/Grand Cherokee
Dream car: Audi A5
-
Daily car: Toyota Yaris D4D (Disclaimer: I has one and it r ossom \o/  )
Utility car: Hilux Invincible or a Land Rover Defender
Dream car: Um.. not sure... Would a Timberwolf be applicable? :nervous: ;)
-
Daily: A sporty mid-sizer... a 2010 Fusion, 2010 Legacy or a 2010 Mazda6. In the future I'm hoping that the next-gen Fusion will be amazing and take this hands down.
Utility: Something like a Mazda5 or projecting into the future: A Ford C-MAX.
Dream car: Right now... I think an Audi A5 Cabriolet.
-
Daily: Hot Hatch of some kind, Probably an XR-5 Focus or a Golf GTi
Utility (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utility_%28car%29): FPV Super Pursuit, or maybe a proper off-roader - I have a new V8 Toyota Landcruiser for work, which is awesome.
Dream Car: Lotus Evora
-
Daily: Cadillac CTS-V
Utility: IDK, some big diesel.
Weekend: Ultima GTR
-
Daily what I have now a 93 S-10. I've beat the crap out of that thing and the only dent in it was from some idiot totaling my Dad's car into the back of the truck. Bent the 2 ton rated rear bumper. Believe me as many times as I backed into the telephone pole at the bar that was a hard hit. And what idiot puts a phone pole in the middle of a bar lot.
?utility: Original Hummer with military suspension none of that cheap knockoff crap. If I want to mount a 50 to it the hardware should be there.
Weekend. WW2 army jeep just because they were so dang cool.
Now if we go out on a limb I'll replace the jeep with a M1a1
-
Daily: I hate moderns so something 80s or early 90s, like an 89 Camry (http://blogs.ocweekly.com/navelgazing/3_89-Toyota-Camry.jpg)
Utility: No thanks, no need. Actually a small van could be handy. Like a Transit Connect or some such.
Dream: My Silvia S12 Turbo, when it's completed (and I do everything I want to do to it). Or either an R32 GTR or S13 Silvia.

Blue Datsun 240Z w/ 280Z L28 Twin Turbo engine
I see what you did there
I would post but I got carried away on choices =\

For daily driving, a Ford Crown Vic (the police version is indestructable, or at least for the 18x xxx miles my '99 has right now), Dodge Charger RT (maybe less reliable, but a bit faster), Mercury Marauder or this:
As a utility: F-150 Raptor, Humvee, Hummer H1 Alpha
And for dream car:
