How much does it say it will cost if you use the check-price function?

It would cost... $528.60 dollars when modified to be buyable, $420.29 dollars when all non-buyable bricks are removed.

You should be able to do a much better job if you went for more of a 'classic space' or 'Lego Star Wars' scale, instead of true minifig scale. I'd want to try it in physical form, though.

Nope, custom lego sets are expensive.

Yeah. I made a small bus thing in LDD yesterday and it cost $30 IIRC.

as much as I love freespace for that price I would much prefer:
LEGO® MINDSTORMS® NXT 2.0
Item #: 8547
Ages: 10+
Pieces: 619
Price
GBP 229.99

It's packed solid with slope bricks, of course it's expensive.

I think you're using the wrong hinges for the wings. The ones you have now don't stand a chance of holding up those massive hunks of lego. I think you'll need the notched, locky hinges, and lots of them. Or you could use technic pieces that don't bend. Of course, that only matters if you're planning to build the thing.

Otherwise, hot damn. They myrmidon's a tough fighter to do in lego.

Yes; and then when you destroy a ship all the bricks get scattered everywhere. *imagines a Lego capital ship exploding and sending thousands of bricks in each direction*
