man wouldn't it be great if someone could make the engine just GO FASTER

and somehow miraculously improve post processing while they were at it?

those darn lazy coders  :mad:

Im guessing that there is some new rendering code that both improves performance and makes shaders more flexible.

A material system would be awesome.

Edit- I mean compression. Unless you mean some sort of fighter nitro, which is also there. . . .known as TAB.
