Title: The A Team
Post by: Wobble73 on October 12, 2010, 07:40:08 am
Hi all, I already posted this in the WHIYL thread, but thought I start a new thread.

So I was watching the A Team movie for the second time recently and spotted a little easter egg. At the part where they team break Murdoch out of the sanitatrium in Germany, the inmates/patients are watching a 3D movie, the title credits are rolling and an actors name crops up......"Reginald Barclay". Now, isn't that Dwight Shultz character from Star Trek TNG and ST: Voyager? And didn't Dwight  play Murdoch in the original TV series?

Has anyone else ever spotted anything like this?

The A-Team flies a tank.  Do I need to say more than that?

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

The A-Team flies a __________.

Fill in the blank, and you'll see what spardason21 was getting after when he pointed out a ridiculous scene in a movie that you replied with "it was a well done scene".

We could put in cow, chicken, turd, manitee, morbidly obese person, (anything) and it would still be ridiculously funny to watch sort of like that stupid flying tank scene.

I thought the movie pretty well sucked :P

e.g. the containers in the final scene were so bad animated that it hurts. The story was crap and so were the dialogues. But there were some funny scenes of course. But the original series all in all was crap, too. So... :)

The original series was far more campy than crappy.  It's a key distinction. :p

Awww, come on guys, it's a great film if you leave your brain at the door! An entertaining romp! It also gives the critics plenty to criticize!  :P

Lets not forget the TV series starred Dirk Benedict from BSG:OS fame! (I loved that scene where he spots a cylon in the opening credits of the A Team )

So has no one spotted anything in a film, such as an Easter egg, cameo etc. without it being pointed out to them?

I was surprised by my admittedly nerdy observation!

i admit if i had never seen an episode of the a-team, i probably would have thought it was a pretty good generic action movie. however, i had seen every episode of the a-team by the time i was 12. so i can only view this as crap. I PITY THE FOO WHO TRIES TO REPLACE MR T WITH A POSER! as for the easter egg, i saw it. meh.
