Well, there you go. Feel free to add/suggest options. I'd say I used to/still do a lot of humming; I've always been into audio/music/speakers, etc. I used to hum in a high pitched, *slightly* annoying tone, now down low. Sometimes try alone, sounds OK by ear, crap when recorded... :ick: :P

what about le horrible whistling
-
Does hip hop at the local Mcdonalds count? :D
No seriously, we used to drop some decent **** sometimes. But I guess singing =/= rapping.
-
haha i scream xD
-
No option for sing-a-long while driving?
-
Music is the best and I am pretty good at it.

Many many moons ago, a group of friends and I would perform at local coffee shops. I have a very good ear for music, but I'm a perfectionist with lousy hand-eye coordination. Which means every time I tried to learn to play an instrument, I'd immediately hear what it was supposed to sound like versus the sound I was actually making and come to a screeching halt. I was told over and over again that you have to just keep on playing after you make a mistake, but I couldn't make myself do it. It sounded "wrong" and needed to be "fixed." Probably need to be on pills for that, but oh well.
But I could / can sing. That was fun. Nerve-wracking, but fun. I was in the school choir for two years before I couldn't stand it anymore. Too much ego, too little real talent, and too many god awful songs for my taste. The guys were all poster-children for the dangers of testosterone poisoning, and the girls were all wannabe divas without an ounce of humility in the whole lot. A liked the group I hung out with after leaving. We were just doing it for fun, and occasionally for teh lulz. (i.e., once I improvised percussion using a couple sauce pans.)
I don't sing around other people anymore; except at church, which doesn't really count. Wife occasionally asks me to sing to her, but she hasn't in a long time. We're older. We have jobs and kids. Daughter asks me to sing to her lullabies, but it just isn't the same as belting out Radiohead songs at the top of my lungs.
:sigh: Now I'm depressed.

i sing along quite well at the computer/in the car. but i HAVE to have the music playing. i sound like **** without it. i've always had a good musical ear and very strong ability to match pitch. when i played sax in high school, i never needed tuning because i would automatically do it on my own while playing.
i've been wanting to take up bass for a while now. just need the money to buy one and the time/patience to learn it.

I can, sort of, sing, but I tend to stick to instrumental stuff. I, personally, don't like my singing voice, but other people tell me I'm ok...
-
no karaoke/singstar option?
only time i sing is when drunk at a mate's house who has singstar and then only to the likes of Eye of the tiger, Show must go on and poison and i struggle to keep inside the little coloured marks on the screen
-
I make a horrible, unbearable noise.
Whistling, good
EE Added too many options ;-)
I can almost manage to karaoke decently when I have the right amount of booze in me, but I still think my singing voice is awful. :(
Edit: When I do karaoke, Bam. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MC0HNPiy18) This is my soong~!

I personally think I'm crap, but I've been told by a number of people that I'm actually fairly good. When asked why, they universally respond that I sound like I mean it.
This probably has to do with the fact the number of songs I'd actually sing requires slightly less than two complete hands to count.

CHOCOLATE RAIN

SOME STAY DRY AND OTHERS FEEL THE PAIN
-
i only sing death/black metal
i also play guitar, horribly
-
haha i scream xD
YES. Ditto.
-
Spent last night getting nicely drunk at a KTV with friends and I didn't get complained at too much (even when singing in Chinese!) so I guess I'm OK at singing. :D
-
i just played Shinedown's Live from the Inside DVD and sang pretty much the whole way through. I do a very nice Simple Man if I do say so ;7
-
haha commanderDJ :)
-
I have been told that I am tonedeaf :nervous:
-
Is it tonedeaf? Or tonedumb? :P
-
Is it tonedeaf? Or tonedumb? :P
both in my case
-
I come from a musical family so I'm not that bad but I'm no Myles Kennady ;)
-
No option for sing-a-long while driving?
"I'm a drive-by showcase?"
-
that was added later
-
Some can sing, others can make noise, and quite a few can whistle - I don't hear many people whistling where I live, maybe they don't do it in public... ;) And next time I should not have so many useless options... :)
-
yeah, this might have worked better as "yes", "no", "kinda" :P

Something that fixed that for me was dance dance revolution. I make a mistake, i keep dancing, and i finished the song with still a good score. Most people watching me never know i made a mistake too.
