I'm using mediavps_3612, and when i destroy a turret, it disappears, it seems there's no broken turret model. Is this the normal behavior in FS2 ?

Some ships have destroyed turret models and some don't. What ship (s) are you talking about?

Yeah, it's totally dependent on which ship. The Hecate's main beams are a glaring example of something that needs a destroyed version.

I was talking about the Hecate, perhaps the Deimos, and some shivan ships too (i don't remember if it's Ravana or Sathanas : destroying forward beams with Helios looks more like a giant chainsaw work !).
It's particularly noticeable in Blue Planet and WiH, as destroying turrets is frequent in these campaigns.

Adding a destroyed submodel may not be a nightmare job. I'll poke around.

I don't notice it so much on Shivan ships. The Deimos turrets are really small too.
Only really noticable on the Hecate, and the big triple-barrel turrets on the Orion :/

Deimos has it's destroyed turrets modeled.
Ravana and Sathanas could use them too.

Bob's Orion should have destroyed models for those turrets actually.
