If you're having panic attacks, you should really consider talking to a professional. It may not work for you, but it could also save you a tremendous amount of time and misery.
If you're genuinely disordered, it may not be something you can work your way out of with happy thoughts and exercise. (Though exercise never hurts.)

actually thats what im trying to do....thanks gen.

i fixed my problems with booze, whores and illegal drugs. unfortunately my miracle cure is still patent pending. ive been trying to get professional help for 3 years now. problem is nobody wants to foot the bill and im a cheap bastard.

Whenever I have panic attacks, I just curl up on the rug and cry/hyperventilate until I fall asleep or pass out. :)

Well I don't have much experience with panic attacks, but if it's really super serious it might be a good idea to talk to a professional as Bat suggested. Past that, as he implied, try going for a run. Personally, that tends to distract me, if not clear my mind. Failing that, try just taking a break. Sit down with some nice coffee and do nothing but read or play video games for a day, whatever you can get totally immersed in for a day. Chances are you'll come out of it feeling better.

Daily task.

I second thesizzler's recommendation for running / going on long walks. Pretty much any extended period of physical exertion is a good way to work off stress. It isn't a cure-all, though.
The way I see it, if your mental problems are of sufficient magnitude that you are having significant physiological effects, it is time to get some professional help. Probably shouldn't wait until things get that bad, but if you are having major physical symptoms as a result of your mental condition, you know for sure at some point you crossed the threshold from something you can handle into something you need help for.
If it helps, think of it like being sick. You go to the doctor when you get sick. There's no shame in that.
-
I go around swearing at whoever takes notice of me, and swearing louder at people who ignore me. It doesn't help though.
In all honesty, it's probably better to find someone in real life to talk to. If anything, it's better to talk to someone face-to-face.

Internet ≠Real help (in general)
-
The internet will probably not be a good source of help, but I do have suggestions:
It's highly dependent on who you are and how you became screwed up.
For me, as an example: I came from a dysfunctional (hoarder and religiously dogmatic) family (biggest issue) and when I had a gun in my face and a guy screaming "do you want to die" at me, they didn't help me, and I went into a period of 'victimhood' for years.
Running, moving away, accepting that my family was dysfunctional helped me a lot. I'm now in the process of figuring out what repercussions and scars I have from the hoarding household, treating what I can and being aware of the rest.
When I first fired a gun, it took the magic of my assailant away - the power that he had in that gun was mine too, and that situation stopped haunting me. My self confidence literally returned from the dead overnight.
You're most likely going to be completely different. If you're like I was, you might not even know what the root cause of your problem is. That's your first task, to discover what it is; otherwise you're not going to have a lot to tell a psychologist. The only time I went in (after friends sent me in as I was very close to harming myself) all I could think of that was bugging me was "my girlfriend broke up with me" when in reality, I had much larger problems than that.
Good luck, and do try to get professional help, not because you're screwed up, but because you clearly feel like you are. Everyone has issues, the trick is finding out what they are and learning to live with them, and it could very well be your particular ones aren't as bad as you think.

Coffee is a bad idea. Caffeine and other stimulants sometimes end up causing panic attacks in people who have had panic attacks before. The whole thing with misinterpreting increased heart rate and such with an oncoming panic attack.
-
That, and if you are already in a near-constant state of fight-or-flight, adding stimulants to the mix will just make your nervous responses even more hair-triggered than they already are.
