Title: Does odeon_fs1.vp replace fs1oggcutscenes.vp?

Hi,

Does the odeon_fs1.vp, downloadable from FS Port website, replace the fs1oggcutscenes.vp (which I presume is what is downloadable from here: http://freespacemods.net/download.php?view.187)?
What are the differences between the two?

Also, is the "Fall of Vasuda Prime Cutscene" official in any way - i.e., is it a remake of one of the original retail movies?

odeon_fs1.vp contains the new hi-res FS1 cutscene remakes that I made.

fs1oggcutscenes.vp contains just the original  :v: cutscenes.

"Fall of Vasuda Prime" was made by Icy Jones. It is an original scene that was never made by :v:.

I'm going to go with your updated remakes mixael - I trust you have done a good job :)

The download page of FS Port says that odeon_fs1.vp "Contains all the cutscenes from FreeSpace 1, plus some community contributions.". Does this refer to your remakes, or does this mean that there are additional original non-official cutscenes, on top of the remakes that you did?

It contains my remakes which are (so far) just the Ancients scenes and the Endgame scene. The others are the original :v: cutscenes. It also contains IcyJones' Vasuda Destruction cutscene which was never a :v: scene.

And I assume that plays on the given spot as well as the official cutscenes, right?

yes, it will play where we want it, all you need is odeon_fs1.vp
