Title: Changing nebula pattern
Post by: CommanderDJ on November 21, 2010, 08:08:33 am
Hello once again,
How feasible/difficult would it be to make it possible to change the colour of the full nebula in-mission? I know we can already change the poofs but what about the actual background colour and pattern? Like to for example make it look like (after an in-mission jump) that a completely different part of the nebula had been reached, we could change it from the original colour to another. I reckon this would be pretty awesome, but the question is how feasible is it?

I think something like that was done in Sync or Transcend... not sure, I've not played it in a while...

Otherwise, I guess the clever use of multiple things in Events/Change/Background and Nebula list (yep, including the poof changer) could get this effect. :) No expert tho.

Pretty sure it didn't happen in Transcend... but I haven't played Sync so I can't say anything there. Guess we'll just wait for a coder to come along and tell us where this is at in terms of doability.

How much of this can mission-set-nebula accomplish?

None. Mission-set-nebula just turns the nebula on or off.
