I had been practicing modeling some with this before the Hermes and I thought it as pretty cool, but I have no idea what it's supposed to be nor what it should be.

Ideas, praise, suggestions, criticism, etc?

Remote sensor unit, stick it in the shadow of a planet so can see behind it or in a nebula/gas cloud to provide better coverage without having to devote assets more useful else where like blowing up shivans

This. What about a super-armored Post Capella cargo container? We know from canon sources that, before Capella, the GTVA was planning to rely less on cargo depots due to their vulnerabilities... with this cargo container, strategists may reconsinder their opinions on the matter.
