It appears to be a browser game based on a comic. I'll bet it's another piece of **** like Travian.

Ive noticed that a lot of adds I get are related to sites I have visited and items I have looked at, I will leave it as a n exercise for how the consequences of this applies to this situation.

There's a plugin for both the Firefox and Chrome browsers called Adblock. Once you add either one, you will be prompted to select a list you subscribe to, which will contain a lot of filtering rules. They're automatically updated like twice a week, and you can add things to the filters yourself if there's something the lists you've subscribed to have missed. I've never even had to manually block anything on HLP.

The problem is more and more online advertisers are letting in people who use ads to malware bomb your computer. I was almost never bothered by ads until the point where they started directly causing problems for me. Security has been upped a bit since then but still...
Except for 4chan banner ads, half of the time those things just get creepy.

Then go and donate instead.
If people block ads but don't donate either, do you expect admins to pay everything from their own empty pockets?

Donating might actually be a good idea. Speaking of which, how many people actually donate, and what's the average that people give?

Can't remember what it was but last night one ad kept trying to either put something on or access something from my desktop bringing up a debug window. What a pain in the arse that was.

In order to fix that, you should clean out your cache, and sue Google for selling your... *ahem*, viewing habits.
