But I have. . . . :{
I didn't totally dislike it. The slowmo was nice. The Brain bit was better.

It's Prey: The Movie, only without the weird gravity.

Preysisfield?

End was a bit pants TBH. Honestly most engaging point for me was the stealths attack run.

Yeah, we had some good pilots didn't we.  Too bad the charicters were fairly unlikable.  And the movie didn't end, it just stopped.  (I was waiting to see a battlecruiser with red glows dangit!)  Good concept, poor execution.

Well, aside from it being by The Brothers Strauss, and aside from the fact that I generally buy crowdsourcing consensus (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/skyline_2010/), the io9 review did a good job of picking its flaws apart.

It's a masterpiece of budget wizardry, shot mostly in the directors' apartment building and in front of a greenscreen (I kid not) in their garage. Just wait to see if Battle for LA is any good.

Are you blind?  The trailer looks like it's Independence Day meets War of the Worlds, with an extra large portion of suck on the side.  I can't believe anyone actually wasted money on this after seeing a trailer.

People keep mentioning these things known as "trailers" and "reviews," but I haven't seen links to any of these fabled sources of information.  I'm somewhat disbelieving of their actual existence.  :o

Spoiler:
The aliens win, the military is defeated. Everyone but the protagonist and his girlfriend is killed through the course of the movie. Our Hero is abducted and has his brain sucked out of his body and installed in a monster, but through repeated exposure to the alien Mind Control powers he's gained immunity and instead takes over his host. In his new alien body he finds his girlfriend in the bowels of the ship, picks her up, and... roll credits.

I hear there's a sequel in the works.
